To our wonderful Western Australian Artists
We are very pleased to announce that the Lawley Art Auction is back on for 2021 and is scheduled for Saturday 21st June. Registrations will open early in 2021.

Note: The below information is for information purposes only and will be updated early in 2021 once registrations are open.
The Lawley Art Auction is one of the highlights of the school year and will be the major fundraising event for our Music and Specialist Visual and Performing Arts (SVAPA) Programs with the proceeds enabling mentoring of our gifted students.
We are seeking your support as a Western Australian artist and would be delighted to offer your work for sale as either:
- a straight donation of artwork; or
- 60% return to the Artist / 40% donation to the Mount Lawley Senior High School Parents and Citizens Association.
In 2019 we sold over 80 pieces of art with a total value of over $68,000. In previous years prices paid for works ranged from $150 to $2,500. We are very happy to accept all forms of ready to hang/display artworks including: paintings, prints, textiles, jewelry, ceramics and sculptures of a reasonable size.
Please enter this year’s art auction using our online form. We have streamlined the application process enabling you to submit your entry form, provide CV information and upload jpegs of your artwork at the one.
Once again we have provided you with an Artists’ Frequently Asked Questions page on our website. We hope you will find this helpful. Of course you can still email the Artist Coordinator directly if you have any further queries, at artists@lawleyevents.com.
To secure a place in our auction, please read and acknowledge the Conditions of Entry contained at the end of the online form. Artists submitting works are asked to pay a $15 fee per entry and we require payment to be made via EFT (bank transfer) to the SVAPA bank account by Sunday 3rd May 2020. The details are as follows:
Commonwealth Bank
Account name: Mount Lawley Senior High School P&C Art Auction
BSB: 066118
Account number: 10370401
Please add your surname and first initial to the Payee Reference (so we can identify you clearly) and print out the receipt to submit with your artwork. This will help with the smooth running on artwork drop off day. The deposit is non-refundable.
To enable works to be promoted effectively on the auction’s website, catalogue and other promotional vehicles, we will require a high quality (see Art Auction Entry Form for specifications) digital image of all entries. Our strong preference is for artists to upload this image with the Entry Form. Ideally, the longer we have to market your work the better. However, we recognise that this may not be possible if you have not yet completed the piece, and so you will also be able to upload this image at a later date. Please email images to our Artist Coordinator at artists@lawleyevents.com. If you are not able to supply a digital image, a professional photographer will be present at the school on the drop off day to photograph your piece.
Please submit entry forms, by 4.30pm on Thursday, 2 April 2020. Your artwork, along with a copy of your entry fee receipt, should then be delivered to the Mount Lawley Senior School Building, Mount Lawley Senior High School on Sunday, 3 May 2020 between 1:00pm and 5:00pm.
Artworks will be selected at the discretion of the Lawley Art Auction Committee. Artists will be contacted by Monday, 20th May 2019 whether their work is to be included in the auction.
Please email artists@lawleyevents.com to contact our Artist Coordinator if you have any enquiries.
Thank you in advance for supporting our budding visual and performing artists, musicians and the whole school community.
Yours sincerely
Lesley Street
